Shawnee, Kan., Dec. 3, 2007 – Straub Construction Kansas City, a general contractor, recently added five new employees. Each individual brings professional experience and expertise to their area of focus at Straub.

Chad Greiving returned to Straub Construction on Nov. 19 on a temporary basis as a project superintendent. He was previously with Straub from 1996-2003 as a superintendent before moving to Wichita. Chad is currently working on the Brookridge Apartments project in Derby, Kan., where he resides, and has 10 years experience in construction.

Jenny Hughes joined Straub on Nov. 12 as the marketing coordinator, where she will oversee advertising and PR efforts and assist with project proposals. Jenny has 15 years of professional experience in public relations and marketing. She was previously a marketing supervisor with Blue Valley Recreation Commission for eight years.

Dennis McMillian, joined staff at Straub Construction in October as a project superintendent. He is currently supervising construction of Hamilton Elementary School, located in Hamilton, Mo. Dennis was previously a project superintendent for Building Construction Enterprises and has over 30 years related experience.

David Stearns recently joined Straub as a project manager. David is currently overseeing the second phase of the Gardens at Northgate Village, a senior housing development in North Kansas City. He has over 20 years experience and was most recently a product manager and project manager for Pulte Homes Kansas City Division.

Tony Adams is a project manager and has been in the construction industry for 36 years. He is presently overseeing the D.A. Holmes Senior Apartments II in Kansas City and the addition of athletic facilities at the St. James Academy in Lenexa. He was most recently with Pulte Homes Kansas City Division in the customer relations area of special operations.
