KANSAS CITY, Mo. – There is a collection of family pictures of Tim and Leandra Hernandez’s home that highlight the couple, their four children, and better times.
Over the summer, Tim Hernandez, 36, suffered a massive stroke and paralysis.

“I just encourage him to keep on. (I) don’t want him to give up. I don’t think he would. It’s really kind of hard,” Leandra Hernandez told KMBC’s Michele Rooney.
