Built to currently accommodate 920 parishioners, this 21,230 SF church is structural steel framed and has exposed timber framed roof structure. The ceiling consists of tongue-in-groove wood decking. Three pairs of 10-feet tall full-lite glass doors surround a storefront curtain wall.
Perhaps the most prominent feature is the collective 13 large skylights covering the towers. Above the Alter is an over-sized skylight spanning 12′ x 20′.
Other amenities are three pairs of 10′ tall solid oak doors, full glass Narthex, ceramic tile, and a state-of-the-art sound system.
What others are saying about Straub Construction, General Contractor, Kansas City
This project had very high expectations and a very tight budget to fit those expectations within. Straub was helpful in examining areas during the pre-construction phase where the cost could be reduced without affecting the overall quality of the project. The construction process was handled in a very professional manner and the monitoring and coordination of subcontractors’ work allowed the building to be completed on schedule.
