We are excited to announce from November 18-27, Straub Construction is participating in our 5th annual Week of Giving! Our employees (and even their families!) will dedicate their time, efforts and funds to volunteer at local charity organizations and non-profits across the metro area.

Giving back is a huge part of Straub’s purpose and culture. Since our inception in 1920, our passionate team has contributed to 50+ local charities. We renovate houses, donate materials, serve meals, and spend our time working in food pantries, churches or other philanthropic organizations. We do this not for the recognition, but for the smiling faces of those we serve.

This year’s Week of Giving events will include serving meals at One City Café at the Bishop Sullivan Center, adopting families and purchasing gifts for the holidays through the Bishop Sullivan Center, cooking a healthy dinner and baking desserts for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, and preparing Thanksgiving dinners for families through Shawnee Community Services.

“You never know what anyone is going through. We’re hoping that these small contributions we are making will brighten someone’s day.” –Ernie Straub
