St. James United Methodist Church saw the increased need for affordable senior living in the Kansas City metro area. Repurposing a piece of land owned by the church, the Emanuel Cleaver II Senior Living Community is located on 9 acres of land, featuring 52 townhouses and a clubhouse and will serve seniors over the age of 55. The site will have a total of 18 buildings, all built to LEED sustainability standards.
