BLUE VALLEY WEST | GYM ADDITION
Blue Valley West opened in 2001 in order to help educate the increasing population of Overland Park. It was the fourth high school to open and is one of five in the Blue Valley District. Currently, they have an enrollment of approximately 1,300 students. In 2023, the Blue Valley registered voters passed a bond referendum.
With their continued growth and focus for safety, Blue Valley West will be adding a new precast concrete gymnasium that will also serve as a storm shelter for students and staff.
