HEARTLAND PREPAREDNESS CENTER
This unique building provides an opportunity for the National Guard and local law enforcement to work together in responding to disasters. In the unfortunate event that a disaster strikes, these two entities will be efficient and effective in serving, ultimately making the local and state communities safer.
This LEED Gold Certified project is located on a 47-acre brownfield site and includes offices, classrooms, assembly space and a locker room that serves as a storm shelter.
Additionally, the project scope includes two parking lots with an access road, a 22,500 SF helicopter landing pad, and the construction of a building pad for a future 58,000 SF Facilities Maintenance building.
