St. Margaret of Scotland

St. Margaret of Scotland

A beautiful place of prayer.

The Community

St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Parish is a Roman Catholic Church and faith-filled community located in Lee’s Summit, MO.

From 1999 to 2004, St. Margaret of Scotland Parish met in temporary locations including the Prairie View Elementary School Gymnasium and Grace United Methodist Church. In 2004, their current church building on Blackwell Road was opened and they continue to worship there today. They currently have over 500 Parish families.

The Construction

The interior of St. Margaret of Scotland has become outdated and is in need of a refresh. This renovation includes raising the interior slab to align with the vestibule, adding a new choir loft, and reworking offices and conference rooms for better functionality. Inside the Nave, the ceiling height is being adjusted, and a new rooftop unit is being installed. The space will also feature new fixtures, extensive interior wood trim, and updated finishes to bring new life to the church.
